This is, without a doubt, the best mala hotpot in the world. Iâve had the pleasure of trying mala hotpot in various cities across China, from Chengdu to Chongqing, and have sampled it in multiple countries around the globe. Yet nowhere even comes close to the quality, flavor, and overall experience offered here.
The depth of the broth is unmatchedâit strikes the perfect balance between spiciness and numbing sensation from the Sichuan peppercorns, without overwhelming your palate. The richness of the flavors makes every bite more enjoyable than the last. Each ingredient, from the freshest vegetables to the tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat, is carefully selected and perfectly cooked in the broth.
The attention to detail in the preparation and the authenticity of the ingredients really set this place apart. Unlike many other places that might water down the broth or reduce the spice to appeal to a broader audience, this restaurant stays true to the essence of mala hotpot.
In terms of atmosphere, itâs vibrant and welcoming, providing a genuine, immersive dining experience. The staff is always attentive and knowledgeable, making great recommendations for anyone unfamiliar with the dishes. Itâs the perfect spot for both first-timers and seasoned hotpot lovers.
If youâre looking for authentic mala hotpot that will blow your mind, this is the place. Iâve eaten mala hotpot countless times, but nothing else compares. Simply the best...
Read moreThe quality of ingredients here is truly impressiveâyou can always count on everything being fresh, from the meats to the vegetables. It is reassuring to know that you never have to worry about freshness or consistency, as every visit delivers the same high-quality experience.
One of the best things about this place is the convenience, especially at night. There is usually little to no wait time, making it a great spot to drop by for a late meal. It is especially enjoyable to come here with a friend, sit down, and take your time eating, relaxing, and chatting over a cold beer. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is always prompt and friendly, making the experience even better.
If I had one small suggestion, it would be that the tables could be a bit higher to accommodate those with longer legs, as they can feel a little low at times. Despite that, this remains my absolute favorite place to enjoy hotpot. The combination of quality ingredients, a relaxing ambiance, and great service keeps me coming back time...
Read moreThis famous Mala Shabu restaurant has been in Thailand for quite some time, but I just had the chance to try it for the first time. The three soup flavors I orderedâMala soup, pork bone soup, and black soupâwere all rich and delicious.
The meat slices we ordered looked exactly like the pictures in the menu. Every piece was cut evenly, and the shape and thickness were consistent. The restaurant really maintains the quality of the meat they serve. No matter how many plates we ordered, they were all the same.
The staff provided excellent service and took good care of the customers. There's a sauce station where you can make your own dipping sauce, or if youâre not sure how to mix it, you can ask the staff to make their signature sauce for you.
The price may seem a bit high because the restaurant looks premium, but believe it or not, after splitting the bill, it came to just around 500++ baht per person, which is even cheaper than some shabu...
