Because of I’m not a fan of coffee, I would recommend a non-coffee beverage on the menu here: “Thai Tea.” This menu item at Brew Alley quite impressed me. The tea flavor here is quite strong, similar to a mix of traditional southern Thai tea/Ceylon tea. It has a very strong tea aroma and isn’t too sweet. I’m someone who is quite picky about the taste of milk tea, and this coffee place did a great job.
If you’re a coffee lover, I think you’ll definitely enjoy the coffee here. Brew Alley feels like a gathering place for coffee enthusiasts, and you can be sure that the staff are experts, knowledgeable, and passionate about coffee and the art of coffee making.
The café's atmosphere is cozy and attentive to detail. However, it might not be very comfortable to sit in the shop for long periods, as it’s a small space and can get crowded with students. Therefore, it’s more suitable for takeaway. If you’re lucky enough to visit Brew Alley at a time when students are doing virtual trials, you might even get to try free coffee made by the students. Come and give it a try—maybe you'll fall in love with the coffee and the...
Read moreI'm writing this review not because I tried their coffee - but to praise their staff's kindness (a woman which I don't know the name and a man I think he is the owner - his name is Oan I think). When I arrived it was raining and their place is full and crowded. I asked in English whether I could have a dine-in coffee there and all of them looked confused. But later on the lady kindly asked me and explained that they are closed for the day. Then not long after that, Oan came and asked the same and he offered me to get into another cafe nearby. He also accompany me walked into the cafe and while doing so he explained that they have a barista training for working overseas as barista. When we arrived, he also made sure and asked the barista whether they are opened too. It was really kind of him and I promised him to go to his cafe today but unfortunately I could not fulfill my promise because I have to pack a lot of stuff for my flight. I really wish I can try their coffee because the reviews in here are really mouthwatering. All the best for Brew Alley and hopefully I can fly again to Bangkok and...
Read moreBest Espresso in Bangkok:-) Found the place on my excursions and was hooked with the good quality of the beans and the skills of the barista (plural!)... Because, and that's the key, this place is more like a school for barista than a café:-) When I walked into the place it was full of people (like 8 or 9, it's not very big), and everybody was learning to make different coffee mixes, and I felt like disturbing them... but, and that's why they should get six or seven stars, they gave me my tripple Espresso with a shot of cold milk, just as I like my coffee, perfect... I came back three days in a row, always got perfect service, and then had to fly back home...
Good job everyone there and...
