Room At VIPA is my absolute favourite. Every time I visit Bangkok, this is my go-to place for absolute comfort. Lost count of how many times I've stayed there, 10 or 15 times maybe. That's how much I love this place. ||Reasons why I love this place:|1. It's located in an area which is equidistant from most tourist spots in the city|2. It's about 100 meters from the main road where you can easily access public transport like the buses or the newly opened SRT dark red line|3. There is a cafe/restaurant on the ground floor if you're looking for fancy food or street food stalls a few steps ahead. Or you could just step into 7/11 next door for a sea of options|4. About the property, the rooms were not super huge, but they had all the necessary things you would need in a budget hotel room. The bed is soft, there’s AC, TV, water bottles, small bedside table with a small lamp for night reading, enough plug points to charge your phones/laptops/power banks. The bathroom was small and would be tough for people of big build to move around freely but it was clean, has shampoo, liquid soap, hot water facility, etc. Not the worst bathroom that I’ve come across. There is also a clothes hanger to hang dirty clothes or washed ones|5. They also have a common area on each floor where they have a microwave to heat your food. They have a refrigerator to keep some of your food and drinks, and you can label them so that others don’t take it|6. In the lobby there is free coffee sachets, cups available and hot water available as well. Free Wi-Fi too|7. Starting from reception to the cleaning staff, everybody is super sweet and helpful. They do know fair amount of English and if they don’t, they try to manage through actions|8. Also, for people who would’ve booked through third parties and have some questions about early check-in/late checkout or other general questions, can do so by chatting with them through FB Messenger and/or Line app. They are very responsive and very sweet while chatting as well. You can also directly book with them through the chat||I have never once had any complaints with this place, out of many times that I’ve stayed here. This place gives such a cosy and homely vibe that you just can’t help feeling the comfort of your home in a foreign land at Room At VIPA. I have recommended Room At VIPA to many of my friends and acquaintances alike and everybody has just good things to say about this place. I will visit...

Read moreMost friendliest staff I've encountered during our one month stay in Thailand.
Helpfull, polite, welcoming.. just very friendly in general. Other hotels didn't even say hello or anything when coming in or even when we said hello to them. Here you feel like a person again.
Oh and they do have great free coffees /small breakfast style too!!!!
Too bad we only stayed one night..
Room was great too, for the price definitely ok, AC working well. And in general the room was not noisy at all as what I read in the reviews. But I guess if neighbors are noisy you can always knock or call the staff right!?
Location doesn't seem like the best it in the first regard but I can say the location is TOP NOTCH since it's so close to the red line going to the airport and to the city center directly and very fast and cheap (way cheaper than the more expensive green line). The area itself is calm, so no traffic noise or anything.
The owner of the hotel should be very very very happy with their front desk staff as they (both the night guy as the lady during daytime) are AMAZING.
Thank you very much guys!
Our last day in Bangkok will be remembered with a smile thanks to you...
