Studer Restaurant — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Nice big restaurant with the cafe in the same area. Food taste and quality were good, portion is quite big. But the service and cleanliness could be improved. I called for a specific table reservation and the staff seated us in a random table. Food were really slow, spare at least 30 mins for your food to arrive, while waiting the welcome bread (croissant came). Croissant is quite good but if you want more, 80B per piece. First dish came way before the second one, so sharing option would be better here else you’ll kinda be eating alone. Once the waitress served tomahawk, there was an insect inside the dish, we called her straight away and what she did was killed it in the plate, walked out like nothing happened 😱. We ordered apple crumble for desserts, the apple crumble itself and rum raisin ice-cream taste very nice, but sabayon sauce the came with it could be improved, we personally think it’s too much alcohol in it, too sweet, and too cold - so I would recommend you order it separately. Ordered simple dishes with 1hour waiting of what came was what I didnt ordered, While other menus are done, we mentioned 5times to the waitress who said we are in the que, 2nd time she said we still in the que until 3rd time she said it was served to other tables and now kitchen had long orders we need to wait til they finish those orders (from guests who just arrived), very disinterested member of staff followed up the case. Til i went to kitchen and asked them by myself they served quick cooked plain pasta with no taste in side dish. (Which not what we ordered) i several times asking to cook real pasta with olive oil (what we ordered) and talked to manager ( who i called to see) otherwise, every staffs said they can't do anything and blamed each others. Very unhelpful, cuz at the end manager came to refund the olive oil pasta who her staffs just told me value is 1 white rice dish (50THB). Other menus are not worth to spend. High prices...

We were drawn here by the stellar reviews of the renowned 'only Josper grill' in Khaoyai and the promise of a 240-day dry-aged Australian black Angus experience. While our expectations were high, the actual experience fell a bit short.

The prime rib we ordered, despite taking over an hour to prepare, was truly delicious, albeit a tad dry. The skill of the griller and the warm, friendly staff were definite highlights. However, considering the price (over 7000 THB for the steak alone), it might not quite match up to the top steak restaurants in the area.

There is also room for improvement in the staff's knowledge regarding the preparation and serving sequence of dishes. All our side dishes were served within the first 15 minutes, while the steak took an hour to arrive, leading to an unbalanced dining experience.
