The Chocolate Factory Khao Yai is a delightful haven for chocolate lovers and culinary enthusiasts alike. Nestled amidst the scenic landscapes of Khao Yai, this charming establishment offers a unique blend of exquisite chocolates, delectable cuisine, and an inviting atmosphere. My visit to The Chocolate Factory was nothing short of magical, and here’s a detailed account of my experience.
Ambiance and Location: Situated in the picturesque region of Khao Yai, The Chocolate Factory boasts a stunning location that immediately captures your attention. The lush greenery and serene surroundings provide a perfect backdrop for a relaxing and indulgent day out. The architecture of the building is modern yet cozy, with large glass windows that allow natural light to flood the interiors, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The outdoor seating area is particularly enchanting, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Chocolate Heaven: As the name suggests, The Chocolate Factory is a paradise for chocolate aficionados. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by the rich aroma of freshly made chocolates. The factory features a vast array of handcrafted chocolates, each one a testament to the skill and artistry of the chocolatiers. From classic dark and milk chocolates to innovative flavors infused with local ingredients, the variety is impressive. I highly recommend trying their signature dark chocolate truffles – they are simply divine.
Gastronomic Delight: Beyond chocolates, The Chocolate Factory also houses an excellent restaurant that serves a diverse menu of Thai and international cuisine. The culinary offerings are thoughtfully crafted, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients. During my visit, I enjoyed a delicious meal that included a perfectly cooked steak and a flavorful Thai green curry. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, and the flavors were well-balanced and satisfying. The dessert menu, of course, features an array of chocolate-based treats that are not to be missed. The chocolate lava cake, in particular, was a highlight – rich, gooey, and utterly delicious.
Interactive Experience: One of the unique aspects of The Chocolate Factory is the opportunity to witness the chocolate-making process firsthand. The factory offers guided tours where you can learn about the history of chocolate, the sourcing of ingredients, and the meticulous process of creating their delectable products. It’s a fascinating and educational experience that adds an extra layer of appreciation for the craftsmanship involved. Additionally, they offer chocolate-making workshops where you can try your hand at creating your own chocolates – a fun and engaging activity for both kids and adults.
Service and Hospitality: The staff at The Chocolate Factory are exceptionally welcoming and attentive. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and prompt service. The staff members are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to make recommendations based on your preferences. Their genuine passion for chocolate and hospitality is evident in the way they interact with guests, making you feel valued and appreciated throughout your visit.
Overall Experience: My experience at The Chocolate Factory Khao Yai was nothing short of delightful. The combination of exquisite chocolates, delicious food, and a beautiful setting creates a memorable and enjoyable outing. Whether you’re a chocolate lover, a food enthusiast, or simply looking for a relaxing day out in Khao Yai, The Chocolate Factory is a must-visit destination. I left with a bag full of chocolates and a heart full of wonderful memories. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area – you won’t be disappointed!

Read moreThis venue is typically filled with both locals and international tourists, often reaching peak crowds during busy hours and seasons. For chocolate aficionados, this spot is a more delightful option than a trip to the cinema!
The staff promptly and promptly guided us to our table, although we opted for chocolaty mint drinks since we had already enjoyed a hearty breakfast at our hotel. The food menu features an extensive selection of both Asian and Western dishes, while the drinks menu boasts an array of tempting cakes and desserts. Although slightly pricey, the ambiance, flavours, food presentation, and effort put into the restaurant make it worthwhile. This is beautifully decorated. You can also choose to stay indoor or enjoy the outdoor tables.
If you find yourself in the area, be sure not to miss the delightful treats on the first floor at Choc Galore. They offer a 20-minute chocolate workshop for 150 Baht per person, complete with a showcase kitchen for live demonstrations. This is a fantastic experience for children. Their selection includes high-end products such as chocolate buns, snowballs, breadsticks, cookies, and various pastries. In addition to the drinks, we sampled an assortment of flavoured chocolates, bringing home soft dark chocolate, soft matcha, soft Venezuela, dark brandy, and supreme dark varieties. The packaging was impressive and kept the chocolates intact for hours.
However, this venue may not suit those on a tight budget, so come prepared. Parking space is quite a haggle.
Overall, it is definitely worth a visit. I look forward to returning soon to taste a few dishes, participate in the workshop, and indulge in even...
Read moreI have a weakness for chocolate - ever since I was small, I was exposed to this sweet stuff that increases the level of endorphins released into my brain and in turn, making me happy. Gone were the days when I would always drag my dad to kedai runcit or waiting for the motorcycle uncle to stop at the factory so I could raid for choki-choki, Koko Jelly, gold coin chocolate, etc.. at my peak, I could devour a whole plastic container containing chocolate. Therefore I grew up as a chubby boy because my parents gave in to my indulgence.
Now I still eat chocolate once in a while but not much - and I made it a point to visit this Chocolate Factory in Khao Yai (also located on the main road of Pak Chong district where most attractions are located). It was lunch time and since they also have a restaurant serving food, it felt appropriate to spend a couple of hours there. ◾They have quite a selection of food ranging from Western, local Thai food as well as Italian (think pizza and pasta). Perfect for our big group as some might want to eat different type of food. ◾This place covers quite a big area, and there is a separate cafe next to the restaurant where you can order coffee as well as buy chocolate - hey, they are called Chocolate Factory right? The chocolates were lovely and delicious. ◾they have a playground outside for the kids to soak in the sun while having fun, and a few Instagram worthy spot to take pictures. Might be a challenge though as there are many people there.
As this place is extremely popular with the tourists, tables are sometimes hard to find especially during peak hours. Still, we had an enjoyable experience because the...
