Great sushi, especially the salmon sashimi. A little pricey but servings were huge. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Ordered an 8 pcs salmon sashimi, a few different salmon sushi, gyu don, ramen and temaki. Must order the super salmon don if you are a salmon lover. Came with 2 slices of salmon belly, salmon, lightly grilled salmon, salmon roe and tobiko roe. Deliciously fresh and great value for money, servings is large even for a man. Pretty good quality Japanese food outside Bangkok. Servings are huge and the sushi are definitely not bite-sized! Sashimi is fresh and good quality. Two-face salmon roll is definitely the highlight for me, as well as the tamago (egg), simple fare but done really well. The ambience is good, there is live music at night and it's not too crowded or noisy. It's a little pricey but well worth it if you are craving for Japanese and want a place for a quiet...

I come to Khao Yai every week with my family and we dine here as one of their frequent customers. Had the best and freshest sashimi and grilled fish at this restaurant. The food in general is simply so much better than high-end restaurants in Bangkok. The owner also has 2 more branches in Bangkok and Singapore.
