“London’s Steakhouse Bar & Bistro” is my absolute favourite steak restaurant in Nakhon Sawan, which has become one of my go-to places whenever I'm back home, as I tend to favour staying in. The word ‘good’ alone fails to capture the depth of my experiences with each visit, which only gets better and better. What sets it apart – besides the exquisite taste of the food, which makes me consistently choose this place even when other dining options are available – are the ambiance and the people who never leave the premises without beaming smiles, laughter, or a sense of warmth. Each visit creates a memorable experience that combines delectable flavours with pleasantness.

From my initial visit at London’s Steakhouse Bar & Bistro until now, I must confess that I've had the chance to try a variety of ever-changing menus. However, there are certain dishes that I consistently order, such as the Truffle Mushroom Soup, Londoner Fresh Chips, and personal favourites like Salmon Wellington or Salmon Filet with Choo Chee Curry Paste. When it comes to the overall taste of the food, I find that London’s Steakhouse Bar & Bistro is able to achieve a harmonious balance between European flavours and catering to the Thai palate. This feeling is something I rarely come across, as we tend to lean towards one side. But here, the charm lies in the skillful balancing.
If I had to choose a menu that perfectly exemplifies this, it would be the Cheesy Cream Spinach. It serves as one of the indicators because this menu is one that my parents particularly enjoy. We've savored an array of European, Italian, and super-Thai flavours. I understand that cream, cheese, and other seasonings can affect the taste profile. However, the enjoyable taste that London’s Steakhouse Bar & Bistro pleases everyone is a fusion of flavours that doesn't come across as exclusively Western cuisine nor excessively intense like traditional Thai flavours. This sensation has truly set apart our dining experience at this cool European restaurant.
When considering a restaurant's ability to achieve a good balance, I examine it from both a broad and detailed perspective. In the case of London’s Steakhouse Bar & Bistro, I find that it excels not only in balancing the flavours of its dishes but also in creating an ambiance, feeling, and impression that leads to cherished memories with each visit. The restaurant's atmosphere doesn't feel excessively private and unapproachable while also not being overly busy to the point of being unsuitable for spending Friday nights, holidays, and special occasions when one seeks a peaceful setting to enjoy delicious food and reward oneself. The manner of staff at the restaurant provides attentive service and offers helpful suggestions without making guests feel uncomfortable, even when we may be clueless. Despite their friendliness, they also respect the customers’ privacy and give them space to enjoy their personal moments without intrusion.
The price and portion of the food at London’s Steakhouse Bar & Bistro are reasonable. If it's a course, you can finish it with just the right amount of filling. There are also excellent drinks for you to enjoy throughout the entire meal, especially the wine, as the restaurant owner is a wine lover. The restaurant also offers a variety of delectable wines from vintage years. All in all, we can enter the restaurant without a clue but leave feeling satisfied, satiated, delighted, and even armed with a few tips to inform our future dining decisions or our next meal.

Read moreDuring a cycling trip from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, we staid one night in Nakhon Sawan. This restaurant was situated in the steet of our hotel. We took the Thai Wagyu (= Thai entrecôte). We asked for 'saignant' and what we got was really amazing. Just like it should be. Belgians and the French would certainly go for this! The best quality of meat, great side dishes. Really one of the best places to visit in town. And the lady chef, a Solvay engineer, we will...
