Summer Kiss Restaurant & Moon Bar — Restaurant in Nong Bon Subdistrict

Update after the breakfast: I would give the restaurant five stars as they care about what customers say. There was nothing negative to mention about the breakfast.

We are currently staying at Mii Hotel, and after seeing the mushroom soup advertisement in the elevator, we decided to visit the restaurant.

The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, cool, and offers a great view of the pool.

Overall, the food tastes good, but it’s quite salty. After eating, the saltiness lingered on my tongue for a long time. If they could adjust the salt level, it would have been much better.

Up until this point, everything was generally satisfying. However, for a hotel restaurant, I expected more professionalism, and there’s quite a gap in that regard.

Only one staff member spoke English, so they couldn’t take our order at first. Even when I pointed at the items on the menu with my finger, they had to call over the English-speaking staff to take the order.

We ordered three items: soup, pork ribs, and fried rice. I expected the soup to be served first and hoped we could enjoy everything together. However, the soup arrived only after we had finished the pork ribs and fried rice. I thought they had forgotten about it and didn’t bother mentioning it since the main dishes had already been served. But then the soup came out after we were completely done with our meal.

If they hadn’t forgotten the order, it would’ve been better if the staff had informed us earlier. Even street vendors wouldn’t serve food like this.

There were only two occupied tables, including ours. I know that a hotel restaurant likely has room service and other customers we couldn’t see, but I ordered at 11:15, and the food wasn’t served until 11:45. That’s quite late, especially considering the soup came out only after we finished eating at 12:00.
