Kang Pa Loong Sanga - Thai Curry Restaurant — Restaurant in Nonthaburi City Municipality

I had a wonderful lunch at Kang Pa Loong Sa-Na, a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant located just north of Bangkok. The restaurant features Thai meat dishes with the generous use of herbs and spices of the forest as seasoning. I didn't order meat, but instead was impressed by their ability to deliver delicious garlic greens, rice and a scrumptious coconut fish soup full of fish, mushrooms, herbs and spices. It could have been one of the best meals I have had in Thailand! Although they don't serve Thai tea, they subbed a local sweet drink which was delicious. No one spoke English which made it even more adventuresome.

I read that the restaurant has been around for over 20 years and has been passing the baton of good taste from father to son . I didn't meet the family, but highly recommend the drive to eat there -- you will...

FABULOUS food!! The best local dishes I have ever tried as a local I dare to say. I waited in the queue for 20 mins and waited for 4 dishes I ordered for just 15 mins. I got some local fish, fried frog, local spicy fish soup and local spicy sauce stirred with deer. The vibe and staff here are also great. They manage everyone’s queues accurately even if there are many customers in the queue. No matter if you come alone because I came alone but I got a big table for 4 people before many groups of customers, of course, I came before them. Restaurant of the word FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! This is called RESPECT! The bill is reasonable if compared with everything I mentioned, you can pay by credit card as well. By the way I didn't see the menu in English, BUT BUT...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Kang Pa and I was beyond impressed. The menu was full of classic Thai dishes. The flavors were truly phenomenal - each bite was a balance of spicy, salty, sweet and sour. The service was impeccable - our waiter was so knowledgeable and passionate about each dish that he recommended, making our experience all the more enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, with dim lighting, soft music, and a traditional Thai decor. In short, this eatery epitomized the definition of a Michelin Star restaurant.
