Non Bakery — Restaurant in Nonthaburi City Municipality

An open shop where customers can walk through large displays of baked bread cakes, and other stuff. Unfortunately, all products are Thai style made for local consumers, and not what I am accustomed to, which is the western style. However, the place was so packed with customers who seemed to know what to get and from which shelf. It was hard to be exploring while customers were trying to squeeze between other customers to get to anywhere inside the shop. My friend (local thai) couldn’t resist purchasing...

Walking from Nonthaburi Pier for 100 metre, then this bakery is located on the main road, at the corner of the street.

With eye observing, the shop is not deep so customer can see all products from the sidewalk. It is always busy with customers as the price is incredibly attractive.

It's worth the boat trip to Nontaburi to buy the fruit cake slices from this bakery. Everything is excellent, but another favorite are the custard tarts. They don't actually sell breads, just dessert-type baking and sausage rolls. It is a famous place, so each purchase comes in branded wrapping...nice for gift giving, as Thais know of the high reputation...
