Kung Phao On Nut — Restaurant in On Nut Subdistrict

Name literally "Grilled 🦐 Onnut". Signature grilled river prawn at clear and reasonable price (but seems yesterday we were offered 599/1099 than menu 500/1000b, hopefully bigger ones). Must order! We had 1.5 kilos and 2 other dishes with drinks, total 1559 THB (Pic 8). 🦐 is fresh, big, juicy. There is also othet seafood choices and other dishes. They also ask how would you like seafood to be cooked. For prawn I prefer grill but others I suggest steaming. You can also order a seafood platter which looks quite festive.

Staff are very attentive, keep helping with adding water and clear food trush basket (even ok to check less as I feel somebody is watching all the time 😆). They also provide a bowl of lime water for you to clean your hand. The shop is quite clean...

Delicious and fresh Thai seafood at a very affordable price with a huge selection. Also, their menu has English, there’s car parking, and the outdoor area is very comfortable when it’s not hot.

They’re famous for their prawns and they don’t disappoint. Very fresh and perfectly “under”cooked.

As for their controversial seafood sauce (based on other reviews), it is more on the sweeter side but still good.
