I'm not picky about details, but if you want to profile yourself as a new business, you really need the basics about the restaurant business to be right.
1/ Serve bread is a must in this segment. Well done. But serving just 1 small trace of hard and cold toast is not good enough. But still not a big deal. What really turned me off was that you apparently have to pay extra for an extra slice!
2/ Much too hot inside because they open the Windows to the terrace instead of using the airconditioning.
3/ Please instruct your staff how to poor a bottle of wine and definitely don't turn a bottle of red wine upside down in a glass!
4/ What justifies the fact that you simply add 5% service costs AND 7% tax at checkout. No extra service given, and certainly not if this is not clearly stated at the entrance and on the menu!
Conclusion. The food is nothing to complain about. However, if they want to profile themselves as a high class restaurant, they have certainly not succeeded.
Advice. Better eat in the Hiden Backyard next door. Also very tasty food and a cozy atmosphere with live music. same, sometimes poor service, but without a maitre d'hotel walking around with his hands in his pockets, who walks around in jeans and a jeans shirt. So you apparently pay 5% extra for that.

Read moreWe had brunch at Brooks today and everything was beautifully presented and delicious.
🥩 Steak & Eggs Plate The steak was tender and well-seasoned, paired with perfectly cooked sunny-side-up eggs and crispy hash browns. The dipping sauce added a nice tangy kick to the meat. It’s a hearty choice if you’re craving protein-rich breakfast.
🥓 Big Breakfast Plate This dish came with creamy scrambled eggs, crispy glazed bacon, hash browns, sautéed mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, smoked salmon, spinach, and sourdough toast. The portion was generous, and every item was fresh. I loved the variety – it felt balanced with veggies, protein, and carbs.
🥑 Avocado Bruschetta with Rocket Salad The avocado bruschetta was topped with cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, and parsley on crusty bread. It tasted refreshing, and the rocket salad with balsamic drizzle complemented it well. A light and healthy option if you don’t want a heavy meal.
🍰 Tiramisu For dessert, we shared a tiramisu. It was rich and creamy, with a nice espresso flavour. The mascarpone was smooth and not overly sweet. A perfect ending to the meal.
Overall, Brooks offers quality brunch with beautiful plating and a cosy atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a satisfying Western-style breakfast or...
Read moreAmazing brunch Experience! We had an absolutely delightful meal at this restaurant! The dishes were amazing, and every bite was packed with flavor. We ordered the Ruby Salad, which was fresh and vibrant with greens, oranges, pomegranate, berries, and a delicious raspberry dressing—perfectly light and refreshing. The Bacon Pancakes with Caramel Sauce were a heavenly treat; the pancakes were fluffy, the bacon added a savory crunch, and the caramel sauce tied it all together beautifully. The Fried Corn was a standout—crispy, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, and so addictive we couldn’t stop eating it! The Portobello Mushroom Pesto Sandwich was another highlight, with perfectly grilled portobello mushrooms, a rich pesto, and melted mozzarella on sourdough, paired with a zesty yuzu salad that balanced the flavors. Finally, the Parma Ham with Burrata and Tomatoes was a luxurious dish - the creamy burrata paired with the salty prosciutto and sweet confit tomatoes was pure perfection. The presentation of each dish was stunning, and the service was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu. Highly recommend this hidden Bangkok spot for anyone looking for a...
