Sushi Nio - Premium Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Pak Kret District

It depends on what you are going to order, there are a lot of miss or hit here. Let start with the fundamental of all Japanese restaurant, the fish, their quality is acceptable for their price point, some come-in fresh and also some that obviously not, but for the price I can’t blame them which I think it is acceptable at this point. The best bet is avoid any discount items if you don’t know what is it going to be liked. Sushi is average at its best, problem is not come from a fishes but the way they served. Sushi rice is always too firm or too loose, and can’t hold their shape well, and mostly banded due to lack of suitable preparation techniques. I recommend this restaurant if you looking for place to hangout with your family or friend for their price this is one of the “best” Japanese restaurant around this area, just don’t expect anything “wow” or “special”, but for quality-price ratio this place is unbeatable especially on the Wednesday night where they offers a special discount during the...

Stopped by Nio in our last night in Bangkok, we wanted to get a little fancy to celebrate the amazing trip we had. We could not have chosen a better location. After looking through the extensive menu we selected a large sashimi sampler and 4 sushi rolls to share. In the states, the meal we ordered would have set us back probably $300 with tip, we barely cleared $100. The grade of the sashimi was second to none, I literally have never had better fish than at Nio. The quality of the rolls was INCREDIBLE we couldn't believe how good everything was. Nio is a MUST on your list of Bangkok restaurants....
