Chai Jor Phochana — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Thai local Thai restaurant was a little bit disappointing. Authentic as the food may be, I found it to be not of particularly good quality and it was also comparatively expensive. The restaurant itself seemed dirty as well.

Inexplicably (to my mind) popular among locals and tourists alike. Over-rice dishes and fresh seafood on offer.

Absolutely amazing food. Had the Penang Curry with shrimp. Curry was by far the best I've ever had, and the 3 giant shrimp were cooked perfectly. Also tried the chili shrimp, fantastic and very spicy! Doesn't look like much, but this is the best Thai food I've had in all my travels...

It's kinda small, more likes a family food store than a restaurant. They offer delicious, traditional Thai dishes at reasonable prices (Big meal for 3, about 5 dishes, costs ~500THB). Plentiful menu.
