Farmai Restaurant, bar and massage — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

We went to farmai restaurant almost every night while staying in a hotel close by. The whole family and staff are overwhelming friendly and we felt verey welcome as soon as we arrived. The food is all fresh and handmade. We tried lots of different meals and they all were absolutely delicious. Cocktails and beverages too! The whole atmosphere of dining on the beach with bonfire and candles is simply as good as it gets....... Definitely wasn't our last time here.

July 2023. Ordered lunch for 5 people. Waited for the first dish for an hour. Club sandwich was okay. The second dish (pasta with tomato sauce and shrimp) was just spaghetti with ketchup and shrimp. Finally, after more than an hour and a half our pizza came out which unfortunately looked and felt like it was frozen prior to us ordering it.

The view and the atmosphere were great, but overall the staff was unprepared and the food was not very good.

Disappointing, but I guess all the effort goes into the season and in the off season...

Great find. On the beach. Lovely family run bar and restaurant. Easy to walk to from Merlin Resort Hotel. Not in high tide!! Had an afternoon drink here, fresh pina colada and 1 beer... 360baht Evening meal we had fresh tiger prawns, served with salad and we asked for table salad too. For 4 tiger prawns 1000baht, they were worth the extravagance. It was raining so we got a free taxi back to the...
