Paradise Beach Cafe @ Khao Lak — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

I really enjoyed my time at this place. We arrived just before sunset and watched it go down... and for about 15-minutes thereafter the sky was absolutely breathtaking! The food here was excellent! I had a seafood coconut soup served inside an actual young coconut! Wow! It was delicious as a soup, but I got a side of rice and ate it sort of like like a curry. I tried some of their handmade drinks as well and they were all tasty! Staff were all friendly, toilets, umbrellas if you want, beautiful beach the kids can play on while you eat, and there's some rocks to sit on too. Up above of the food area there is a sort of coffee shop I want to go back and visit also. And there are toilets too. The area was very safe and lit up after dark. The servers speak really good English, and the portions were western size too. LOL Highly recommend...

Great place right on the beach. Food and service is excellent. A vast menu of drinks and food especially lunch and dinner. We are here for 2 days straight. It's convenient on the beach offering lounge chairs/sun beds free with food or beverage purchase. They also have tables under a covered roof and a few right on the beach (perfect for couples). Smoking is permitted, wifi is free and somewhat stable. I suggest their shrimp cakes, prawn tempura, fried rice, and fried chicken. Their coffees are weak and instant but doesn't ruin the overall experience. They give you complimentary watermelon slices after every meal., which is a nice touch. The place is really charming, with a cozy atmosphere and a lovely sea view. The staff was welcoming, which added to the overall pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the yogurt smoothie was quite disappointing: it lacked flavor and felt a bit bland, not what you’d expect from a drink like that. Prices are also on the higher side, even compared to other sea-view cafés in the area. A nice spot with a nice potential, but a few details need refining to truly match...
