iQ bar &​ restaurant​ — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

We ordered red curry and we got green curry. When we asked the waiter if this is really red curry he barely looked at our plate and just said "yes it is". But it was obviously not red at all. However, even for a green curry ... it was the worst curry we had on our travel so far. Tasted purely like coconut milk. The Danish couple that was sitting next to us complained that they are waiting already for an hour to get their food. When it finally arrived, they also complained that they got the wrong food. After discussions with the staff, they just grabbed the bottle of wine which they ordered, paid and left the place.

The atmosphere is nice though. So, I only recommend to have drinks there and avoid the bad food.

All-round the best restaurant we’ve had dinner during our Thailand stay. The atmosphere at the beach is phenomenal, the service excellent and the food very tasty. The family run restaurant offers a vide variety of thai food including vegetarian options. We ended up having dinner at this restaurant most nights during our stay at a close by resort. It’s the small touches that make a big difference like offering mosquito repellent to guests - even though we didn’t encounter many. They offer takeaway. The price/value ratio is very fair! We've used this beach restaurant on a daily bases when visiting Khao Lak.Sadly we returned today and the older couple who ran it were no longer there. Who were fantastic The new staff were unfriendly, we were sat waiting to order no one came. We had to ask for our bill several times. The staff made me feel like an inconvience. It was disorganised.
