This restaurant is not to be missed. Not for the faint hearted, it is chock full of Thai families eating and enjoying life. It is bbq style which you cook at the table over hot coals. There are far too many foods available to list but everything is seared over the coals and the resulting soup then devoured at the end. Delicious. One of the more local Mookata places in Khao Lak, but seems like more foreigners/tourists are finding this place. Anyway, my local Khao Lak friend bought me here to experience the Southern style Mookata, which is a little more expensive than the northern.

But for B259, it's a steal, considering there are so many choices available. One also needs to know the right way how to start the session, with the pork fat being used to lace the hot plate. A great place, ice cream and cooked plain dishes such as cooked spaghetti are unlimited, as are beef and shrimps. 279 bht for a person over 130 cm tall, 139 bht for a person 110-130 cm tall, free for a person under 110 cm tall. Beef and shrimps you need to order on arrival on their site by using your table's QR code/temporal account.

One nit pick: the butter is not really a butter, but a spread, be aware- the only thing I'd want the business owners to change. You don"t want to fry your shrimps in spread and garlic!
