Rasoi has some excellent reviews on Google so we decided to give their Indian food a try. We must say we both left a little underwhelmed. We ordered chicken tawa for two, along with a garlic nan and yellow basmati rice. The nan bread was excellent but the rice was quite plain, lacking aroma. The main dish, the chicken tawa, was served on a large hot plate on top of aluminium foil, not great presentation. Whilst there was plenty of chicken for two people the dish itself was lacking in depth of flavour. It needed a little more sweetness and a touch of salt to balance it out we felt. Whilst we still enjoyed our meal there was no elements of our dining experience that would make us want to rush back. To accompany our meal we ordered two cocktails and they were very good. The staff at Rasoi were very friendly, attentive and eager for us to have an enjoyable dining experience. In terms of pricing though we thought it a little high, in particular 100 baht for a relatively small rice and 120 baht for nan bread, that is Western pricing, way too high for Thailand. Overall we would describe our dining experience here as pleasant but lacking that "wow" factor.

Rasoi in Khao Lak is a culinary gem that left me absolutely impressed! The Indian food here is simply amazing – full of rich flavors and authenticity that’s hard to find. One of the highlights is that you can pre-order your seafood or meat earlier in the day, and they’ll fetch it fresh from the market to BBQ it for your dinner. The restaurant has two kitchens and menus to cater to both Thai and Indian cuisines, so there’s something for everyone. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Give Rasoi a chance, you won’t regret it – it’s the kind of place that’ll leave you craving for more! A huge thank you to everyone at Rasoi, especially the talented chefs who work their magic in the kitchen. Keep it up!

We came this afternoon about 7pm, table#14, Saturday 30 March 2024 they're full load We wait for an order for one hour, one family behind us, was waiting about 1:20, the other one, waiting same time as we are They bring 2 drinks in 10 minutes after order 🙏, the third - just mango shake, wi didn't get up to we finish and quit. All two drinks we ordered with no sugar - came with double sugar 🤪 I seat all this tine right opposite the kitchen window and start to suppose mess and dirt. So when we finally got food, it was served with a dishes which smelled like old filthy rag. And some dishes have fingerprints 🤯 So it is the worst place I have ever been in Thailand. Don't know who and why, writes them good reviews.
