Salt Surf CafĂ© â Where gods brunch, mortals surf, and cinnamon rolls are your new religion.
This place isnât just a cafĂ©. Itâs a divine beachfront sanctuary, handcrafted by the gods for those worthy enough to sip espresso while watching the horizon melt into the sea. You think you came for breakfast. But really, you came for a spiritual awakening.
The staff? Actual descendants of the sun. So warm, so chill, so flawless â theyâll remember your name, your favorite topping, and quite possibly your deepest emotional needs. Efficient like Greek gods with a schedule, kind like Nordic elves after a spa day.
The coffee? An elixir of immortality. So rich and smooth it makes Italian espresso look like tap water. One sip and your ancestors feel revived. Two sips and Zeus gives up thunder and opens a café next door out of sheer envy.
Cinnamon Rolls? These are not pastries. These are sacred scrolls of dough, soft and sticky and sweet enough to silence even the loudste beach bum. If you see one, act like a hero on a quest. Buy it. Devour it. Ascend.
Cookies? Baked with love, science, and probably some kind of ancient spell. Soft as baby clouds. So chocolatey the Swiss are holding emergency meetings.
Smoothies? Bursting with sunshine and vitamins. One sip and your body goes, âYES.â Two sips and your cells start dancing. Perfect after catching waves, or simply existing in this mortal coil.
Sourdough Sandwiches? Crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside â just like your emotional walls. Topped with anything from eggs to tuna to pure joy. These sandwiches donât feed you, they complete you.
And yes, you can surf. Boards? Theyâve got âem. Lessons? Absolutely. Will Poseidon himself rise from the waves and nod at your form as you paddle out? Probably. This is where you meet your inner surfer, then high-five him after your first wipeout.
Salt Surf isnât a cafĂ©. Itâs a myth, a miracle, a mouthwatering manifestation of beachfront perfection. Youâll come for the view. Youâll stay for the cinnamon roll. And youâll return⊠because youâve...
Read moreI visited this café a couple times during my trip to Khao Lak, as it was near where I stayed. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
Environmental concerns: They serve dine-in cold beverages in single-use plastic cups, which feels unnecessary and wasteful. Instead of providing free drinking water, as many responsible cafĂ©s do, they only sell overpriced canned water, adding to Thailandâs already overburdened recycling systems + waste management problems.
Atmosphere & Service: The mood is uninviting. The staff seem exhausted, and the man who appears to be the owner looks grumpy, glued to his phone instead of engaging with customers. Not exactly a welcoming vibe. Service doesnât match the premium pricing. Customers must order at the counter and are given a loud buzzer to collect their foodâ not the level of hospitality one would expect for the expensive prices.
The coffee was good though.
Overall, it feels like an overpriced café with little effort toward sustainability or...
Read moreI have booked a surf lesson for my daughter 15.06.25 9:30am. Unfortunately, there was no suggestion about weather conditions at that exact time I have booked. The waves were so strong and not comfortable for surfing. I suppose the trainer has to talk in English beginer level at least and has to consider the age and skills of the client as well its not always about money its about health, sometimes better to move lesson time for better. My daughter stopped the lesson earlier because it was scary to go far to the sea, and there were no good comfortable waves closer to the shoreline. Happy, nobody was injured. Cafe and atmosphere in Cafe is very good, I do not recommend this place for beginners, for teenagers, but really recommend for...
