Stayed at the Ramada and has the food package so was forced to eat here most days. Whilst the selection was extensive, the food missed the mark on most occasions.
The food was nicely presented and had an equal balance of Asian and Western style foods. I would have to say that their western food was better than their Asian food, especially Thai food where they missed the mark completely.
The Khao Pad (Fried rice) was swimming in oil. The Pad Thai, although looked very grand was too saucy and wet. The Basil chicken was far too sweet. The Tom Kha Gai (Thai coconut chicken soup), although full of herbs was very bland. Thai Green Curry - was equally bland and dumbed right down to be so weak, you could not taste the distinct green curry flavour.

However, the highlight of the night was definitely the fire show—it was truly impressive and left...
Read moreGreat beach views but the food an absolute let down for Thailand. Not fresh or vibrant and with such great produce in Thailand it really misses the mark. It was hard to order with such little English speaking servers, took me 5 minutes to just order a coke. The lack of enthusiasm from your wait staff is wow. They really need to lift their feet, the sound of them all dragging their feet around while you sat just added to the lack of wanting...
