Sushi mai — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

We loved this Japanese restaurant. It is very clean, modern and new looking inside. We stayed at Eden Beach Resort and Spa and it was about a seven minutes drive from the hotel. The place is true to the form of Japanese culture so you must remove your shoes before entering. A++

We had Salmon Nigri which was very good and fresh. The fresh Wasabi is a must over the powder Wasabi. It was extremely spicy so a little goes a long way. We also had the Spicy Tuna Roll which was pretty good. It was not the typical spicy roll where the Nori wraps the sushi and fish. And finally for the final swimmers dish we had the Saba (Mackerel) which was very tasty and the sauce had a nice sweet stickiness to it.

For starters we tried the Gyoza. It was crispy and delicious.

We ordered the Shoyu Ramen with pork. The broth was delicious and the noodles were perfectly cooked with a little chew. The pork is thinly sliced and was pretty tender.

This Japanese restaurant truly stands out for its attention to detail. Once you dine here, you’ll realize the prices are incredibly reasonable for what you get. The menu is impressively diverse, and the freshness and quality are top-notch.... three thumbs up from me!
