Bang Charm Restaurant — Restaurant in Phatthalung Province

Came here after passing through Thale Noi for some sightseeing.

Found this restaurant highly rated. Came and have an early dinner. Definitely did not disappoint !

However due to we were sitting on the outside table, theres some ants lurking on the table. This is expected as we were dining in the nature by the lake. A lot of thai speedboats can be seen and heard passing by the restaurant.

Lets back to food shall we ?

We came and order squid cooked in lime and spicy sauce. Order can be made 500grams or 1kilo. We took 500grams as we were only 2pax.

Then we order the minced pork with yellow curry.

And also Baegu leaves with eggs.

The food were extremely fresh especially the squid ! Mind you the sauce gets spicy the more you eat ! Same goes to minced pork with yellow curry ! The vege is superbly good to enjoy !

Total bill: 350 baht - half kilo squid 180 baht - minced pork with yellow curry 100 baht - baegu leaves with eggs 100 baht - Singha 20 baht - 1 bucket of ice 20 baht - 1 portion rice (1pax)

Food not delicious.They have hidden charges.My friend ordered one glass of plain water as he couldn’t drink sweet beverages.When drink served the waitress added some ice cubes. But when we checked the bill the charged 20 baht for the ice .Plain water is 15 baht .So total we have to pay 35 baht for one glass of plain which is ridiculous as in Phattalung plain water is served free if we dine in .Thr bowl of sour fish served only a few small pieces not as shown on the menu is big portion of fish.The taste of food is so so only and quite pricey.I won’t go...

Such a fantastic experience eating here on the river. The food was so delicious, cooked so well and delivered promptly. The view is lovely and fresh. The only downside were some staff seemed to be very tired and a bit grumpy which could be felt in the atmosphere. We received a discount because we stayed at a resort nearby.
