UPDATE: Five years later and still FIVE STARS!

My daughter and I stopped by this evening for some brisket. It was awesome! Full of flavor, so tender that it melted as I ate it. With delicious accompanying side dishes of slaw, pickled onions, and tart pickles. There was also a dipping sauce that was just spicy enough to excite the taste buds, but not so flavorful as to take away from the natural flavors of the smoked brisket.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Five stars across the board. I got the big daddy platter which includes a sampling of every BBQ meat item on the menu. Everything was amazing, succulent, flavored perfectly, and beautifully presented. There have been some comments in various reviews about the ribs being dry, but that is the style of cooking. Slather on some of the spicy barbecue sauce and they also are amazing. The sides we're good and included beans, coleslaw, and some sweet onions...

I was here as the beef rib and smoked brisket are hardly to eat in Bangkok. Upon both dishes arrived on the table, look nicely. But after try them, I found that both were not seasoning before smoked and in my opinion they are too much tenderized. This made no taste on them. Even I apply salt and pepper, taste is not that I expect. So, this made me to give them only 3 of 5 stars in term is f food. Smoked beef tongue is also as same as those smoked dishes. Smoked pork intestine is very recommend as this dish made me surprised, it tasty and delicious. Salad and pasta are O.K. craft beer are a bit expensive. Overall, if you love American food, here can make you relief from missing them. But not that often place to come according to...

If you're looking for an authentic American BBQ restaurant it just doesn't quite hit the spot. There are no BBQ sauces on the table or provided, cole slaw seems like the canned kind, potatoes aren't garlic mashed or seasoned, there are canned pickles and garlic, and no cornbread. The brisket was really good, but fatty. Would have been better with some decent BBQ sauce. Ribs and pulled pork were pretty good, too, but again need the American BBQ sauce.
