This is a seriously good restaurant, especially for Thai food. Over the course of a month in the area, we had over a dozen of their Thai and western dishes from soups, starters, salads, pizzas to meat.
All the soups, western and Thai, were great and the lobster bisque is superb. Starters (smaller plates) were enjoyable. Pizza and salads were very fresh but not to our taste. Chicken breast was tough but the German mixed sausage main was the best we found in the Cha-am area and we went back several times for it.
The Thai dishes, including the massaman special, were at least as good as at the Dusit, which has for years been the benchmarker in the Cha-am area for non-seafood Thai dishes. The Chinese fish in soy and ginger, a favourite of ours at better London Chinese restaurants, was equally good here and plenty for 2, on its own.
Open about a year, both owner and manager have lengthy backgrounds at 5* luxury hotels such as the Banyan Tree chain, and it certainly shows.
An attractive open air restaurant just around the corner from the Grand Pacific hotel at the southern end of Cha-am beach, it is set in a small garden, benefits from sea breezes and enjoys an outlook mainly of fields (OK, enough estate-agent-speak).
Their very popular buffet night starts at 6pm (to 8pm) on the 24th of every month; great value, as the 1,400 baht charge includes Australian steak and lamb, oysters and alcohol (wine, beer, whisky). Must pre-book; they had over 100 on Christmas Eve and were also...
Read moreGreat place for dining with family or friends. Small kids play area at the back to keep younger kids occupied. Tables are well spaced so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other. Lots of different areas with different types of atmospheres (under the open air main roof, in the beautiful grass next to the fountain, under the sala, etc.). There is a good mix of Thai and western dishes and reasonable prices. The manager is very accommodating and the service staff are good. The shrimp cakes and shrimp egg rolls were our picks for apps, and pizza, pastas, Thom kha gai, and a spicy crab stir fry for our main dishes. We then enjoyed a nice plate of fruit to round out the meal. Throughout the meal there was a nice breeze! Walking by their storage freezers we noticed they use quality sausages, etc. Restrooms are very clean. This will likely become one of our regular...

The steak sandwich is an absolute bargain at just 130 THB, while the pineapple fried rice from the lunch menu (180 THB) was both impressive and delicious. The garden setting adds a charming touch, creating a relaxing vibe. Their motto seems to be, "We treat you like family," and it truly shows—the service was warm and friendly throughout.
Located in a quiet spot just off the south end of Cha-am Beach, between Beach Road and Phetkasem Road, this place is a hidden gem. Definitely worth a visit! I can't wait to come back and try the dinner...
