Zaab Eli — Restaurant in Phetchaburi Province

A great location to stop for lunch before checking in to your hotel. The restaurant locates right at the Hua Hin entrance.

However, every dish was too sweet for us. I understand that local Thais love to add sugar to most of their menus but here even the spicy dipping sauce which normally has to be spicy was so sweet. The grilled beef was also tasted sweet and very tough to chew. But I love their pig liver, it was cooked perfectly, it was soft and tender and was not overcooked. Thumbs up for this dish.

Overall, a good authentic Thai restaurant, Isarn/Esarn food, where if you don't like sweetness you can ask them to tone down the sweetness. We may come back again next time and definitely ask them to go easy with...

I love this restaurant, great place for Isaan food. Today was the first meal I've had here since before covid, and I'm pleased to report that the food is just as good as I remembered. They have English and Thai menus, with a large selection of food and drinks. Today I ordered spicy bamboo shoot salad and spicy fruit salad. Portion sizes were very generous, either dish by itself could have been enough for my lunch, but of course I ate all the food. Food was served quickly and the taste was excellent. Very nice place to visit for esan food, tasty disdes. Large windy and cool spot, conveniently located near a roadside, plenty of parking space.
