Pae Yuan Restaurant — Restaurant in Phetchaburi Province

5 of us were ending a 2 week motorcycle trip and wanted to have a nice goodbye lunch before heading our separate ways. Pulled into an almost empty parking lot with at least 30 free spaces, and we have 3 big bikes with side bags, so we need 1 and a half car parking spaces. The parking lot boss said we couldn't park with the other 4 cars. And made us move. He showed us a space to park so small only a scooter would fit. After trying to fit 3 big bikes there, we gave up and went back to the very empty parking lot. He followed us there and was being rude. Many hand movements saying can not park. We tried to enter the restaurant but he followed us up to the door saying we have to move our bikes. So move them we did to the nearby Robertsons and had a very nice lunch. 2,500 baht spent at Robertsons that this restaurant didn't want. I have never seen a business work so hard to chase customers away. Could not rate the food as we didn't have any. I think we may have enjoyed it if we weren't chased away by the parking...

ขยายร้านใหญ่: มีพื้นที่กว้างขวาง รองรับลูกค้าได้เยอะ ที่จอดรถสะดวก: มีที่จอดรถกว้างขวาง อาหารเสิร์ฟเร็ว: ไม่ต้องรอนาน ราคามิตรภาพ: ราคาไม่แพง ทอดมันอร่อย: ทอดมันชิ้นพอดีคำ เหนียวนุ่ม อร่อยจนต้องสั่งกลับบ้าน ไข่เจียวปูม้วน: ไข่เจียวปูม้วน ลูกๆ ชอบมาก ป้าก็ขอให้ซื้อกลับบ้านด้วย

Pae Yuan Restaurant Review

Pae Yuan Restaurant is a place I've been going to since it was a small, home-based eatery. Now, it has expanded into a much larger establishment with ample parking and plenty of seating. The food is served quickly, and the prices are very reasonable.

What I liked:

Expanded restaurant: Spacious and can accommodate many customers. Convenient parking: Ample parking space available. Fast service: Food is served quickly. Reasonable prices: Affordable. Delicious fish cakes: The fish cakes are bite-sized, chewy, and so tasty that you'll want to order them to go. Crab omelet rolls: The crab omelet rolls are a hit with the kids, and even my aunt asked me to buy some for her to take home.

Things to note:

There's an extra charge of 60 baht per table if you want to sit in the air-conditioned room.

Conclusion:

1. Not busy but there are some problems between order and kitchen. The menu says to request not spicy. The order form has a column for not spicy. But it still came so spicy that after two bites each we didn't finish it.
2. And I'm not sure how I feel about having to pay for the A/C dining area (60 Baht per hour). The other dishes (airy omelette with crab and mackerel with green vegetables) were pretty good. Would come back to show the family the exhibits (they own a museum-town in...
