Wow... Just truly wonderful!

I've never experienced an Indian meal like this.

The restaurant is in the middle of nowhere, it's extremely basic but it's clean and well organized.

The service from the Nepal waiter was spot on with attentiveness and warmth. The lady popping in and out of the kitchen was lovely, very kind and genuine.

The food took quite a long time... This is a luxury problem as it's guaranteed to be cooked from scratch and this is confirmed when eating. Very high quality and perfect balance of spice and flavour.

The chef came out at the end and struck me...I can see in his eyes pure honestly and passion with being humble at the same time. A truly great experience with wonderful humble owners cooking delicious food!

Well worth the trip on the back...

I live in Hin Lek Fai. We haven’t had an Indian restaurant up here..until now. I just had a fantastic dining experience. The restaurant is small…I think I counted 12 seats. It is located on a very quiet street. It is a very intimate setting and the owners couldn’t be more hospitable. I had chicken samosas, butter chicken, and garlic naan. The taste was superb. The chicken was moist and soft. Maybe this was some of the best garlic naan I have ever had. It was crispy in the right places, and chewy in the other places. Perfect. I’m glad this place opened near my home. Now I do not have to go into the city, or up and over the viewpoint for an Indian fix. Well...

Excellent food. Bhaji and Pakora followed by Vindaloo, Madras (style and heat), Aloo Saag, Pilau Rice and Naan. A feast of blended spice and flavour. Super meal, reasonably priced. The style and setting of the restaurant is relaxed and comfortable. It may be a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit. Visited a few times now. Consistently great food and today Sept no different. Added a couple more photos the full meal and the inevitable take-away of the left overs.

Update - still as good as ever, May 23. Outstanding food, atmosphere and service.
