OX Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

If I could give 0 stars I would. We called prior to arriving to make sure they had oysters, which they said they had. When we arrived 10 mins later they said they didn’t have any today. My fiancé and I came for our anniversary and were extremely unsatisfied with everything. The service, scenery, food was terrible. Being a chef myself I was extremely disappointed and angry when leaving, still hungry because the food was inedible. Maybe because I’m from USA I have higher standards of service. But a place like this that advertises fresh seafood and lies to get customers should not be allowed to operate. All the food came out 10-15 mins apart morning glory was not good at all. Cockals we’re old, fried shrimp was not cooked through seaweed came last about 45 mins after we ordered. None of the servers were attentive as they were more focused on their phones than making money. Like I said I’m a chef that being said I tend to tip very well sometimes 50-75%. This was the first time in my life I didn’t leave a tip at a restaurant. I’ll I was the owner of this restaurant I would have a long meeting with my staff to stress on the problems and honestly fire half of the staff that were wasting my money and time. All in all will never be back here as I can make all the food we ordered plus more at home in USA faster and cheaper. Think twice about...

After the Covid 19 break we were very happy to enjoy a seafood dinner at the OX restaurant ! It was quiet for lunchtime , 2 bigger tables . We ordered prawn yellow curry with rice and som tam with rare crab . One water , one coke and one green tea ice. The waitress forgot the green tea- can happen ! I got my food ( prawn ) - the taste was good . The waitress forgot to bring me rice . After 10 min my wife asked about her food and my rice . Some minutes later they brought me cold rice No sorry or something !!! My food was cold now and I eat mostly already .

The chef didn’t t brake the legs of the crab - so you cannot eat them ! I tried to bite them with my teeth , but too hard . Impossible! We ordered the bill and leaved very disappointed this restaurant. The waitress and the manager could be happy , that I cannot speak Thai ! 5 months ago I recommended this restaurant. But yesterday it was very bad from the service . At the big table the customers must always to stand up for getting water. And they order a lot of expensive food . The staff recommend menu well by telling you which seafood is fresh ,which menu is popular. The staff try to service customers but still have some problems with queuing due to very crowded during lunch time
