The Moment Cafe' and Craft — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

The place was not easy to find and ridiculously you had to be taken up to it on a little golf cart. Leaving either your car or motorcycle as in our case outside in the baking heat. I cannot comment on the food because we called in to take a refreshing drink and check out the place for a dinner date at a later time. We will not be returning. Also, as we tried to leave we were asked, for some inexplicable reason, for the room number and place that we are staying in town!. With no explanation. From the moment that we arrived until the moment that we left we felt nothing but uncomfortable. As though serving us was a problem for the staff. It is my opinion that during these trying times of course the staff should try their hardest to make you feel at ease. This did not happen. Therefore I cannot and will not recommend...

On top of a wooden terrace shaded by a very old tamarind tree the Moment staff will welcome you in a very friendly and professionnal manner. You will have access to wooden furniture with a beautiful view surrounding the Spirit. First Villa Vista then the buildings of Khao Tao, even the big Buddha can be seen on top of Khao Tao hill and of course the sea ending at the horizon. You will drop you car in the parking at the entrance of the village and a big golf cart will take you to the restaurant where there is a huge common pool.... There is a vast array of western and Thai food served with style. The food is tasty the portions are good. They will really respect the level of chili you want in your food... I really have to say it was the first time and legit the last time i will ever step in this so called "café". First impression was good because of the view. Looking clean like a 4-5 star resort nearby so who would even expect that the restaurant turns out to be this low-rated. The restaurant took more than an hour to serve beverages. Some tables didn't even get a bottle of water. The women who was in charge at the counter was crazy rude with a very unfriendly face. I understand that the situation was quite hectic there but please know that you are in NO place to show that unpleasant expressions of yours toward your customers. Very disappointed. Need better management and more well-trained waiters. No more words. NOT...
