Yum's House — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

The food here is know as kanom jeen, which is a traditional style Thai curry with white rice noodles. We had the green curry beef and chicken. Both were bursting with flavour. You can select all side dish vegetables and pickles vegetables + you can take one boiled egg each as part of the meal. We also had tord man pla which is a fried fish in batter with some vegetables which is shared with a sweet and spicy chili sauce which was delicious. Delicious Thai food. The menu has Thai food you're unlikely to find in a typical tourist restaurant. A lot of choices on the menu. We eventually chose the make your own rice paper rolls set. We had everything we needed for rice paper rolls - larger pieces of rice paper would have been better. Lots of lettuce leaves, crispy sausage, chilli, chilli paste, garlic, peanuts, cubed vegetables - delicious. Drinks menu is limited, they had run out of beer. Quite disappointing. We were at Yum’s House for dinner at around 6pm. The place was nearly empty and we were told there was no beer left. We managed to get some bottles from the 7-11 across the road. The service was slow, the food not even mediocre and the atmosphere non-existent. Not what we expected based on so many positive reviews. Definitely not the place to go for good food and...
