Pedro Churrascaria and Steakhouse — Restaurant in Rangsit City Municipality

THE LUNCH BUFFET IS HIDEOUS!

Today I went to the main dining room at the Novotel, now dubbed "Pedro" because it's a steakhouse at night. This was my 3rd, and definitely last visit. The 1st vist was fantastic, well-prepared and fresh food, including several delicious Western dishes homemade baked goods and ice cream. The 2nd time was fair, although one member of our party was hospitalized for food poisoning from the pre-sooked seafood sitting out.

But this time: No roast beef, only cuts of cheap meat (like some dry steak) fried with no seasoning, no other meat dishes except mediocre Indian, no potatoes, only one vegetable dish (spinach & cheese), a "salad bar" of iceberg lettuce and croutons, and desserts that can't stand up to 7-11.

It's obvious they no longer care about their guests or any foreigners who might want something unique in the area, and are catering more to morbidly obese Thais who just want to stuff themselves as cheaply as possible. The desserts were especially disappointing. Most of the sugar was removed, and all the pastries dry as dust, typical of cheap Chinese desserts. Everything appeared to have been purchased at Makro. I tried dipping a cookie into the chocolate fountain to give it some flavor and moisture, with limited success.

The waitress heard of our (party of 4) complaints and "apologized" for the hotel changing the menu without giving any reason why the menu had been changed.

Whatever. I will NEVER return to any Novotel on Earth. This place sucks, and they seem unaware. The head chef should be ashamed,...

0/5 star — Very Disappointing Experience

I went to Pedro Churrascaria and Steakhouse at Novotel Future Park Rangsit for their lunch buffet, and it was extremely disappointing.

I chose this place because their website showed pictures of grilled meats and described the buffet as including grilled dishes. However, when I arrived, nothing matched what was advertised. There was no grilled meat at all — only some very dry chicken and some other dishes that looked like leftovers from yesterday. Nothing was fresh or appetizing.

The buffet costs 500 THB per person, but honestly, even 199 THB would feel overpriced for what they serve.

I’ve also tried their Churrasco Dinner before. You do get grilled meat at dinner, but it’s still not worth the price. They come around with skewers and serve you a very thin slice of meat every 15 minutes or so — in total, maybe less than 10 tiny slices for the entire meal. The other buffet dishes were nothing special either.

Overall, this restaurant is not worth the time or money. The marketing and photos on their website are very misleading, and the actual experience is completely different.

If you’re thinking of eating here, good luck — you’ll need it. If you were my friend or family, I’d tell you not to waste your money...

Novotel, it’s quite a big name. Saw the google ratings quite high 4.8.

Really a big disappointment. Can say from entering the restaurant, till leaving the place, really 0 point 😓 have you ever experienced the anger while eating?

I booked from Eatigo knowing that there’s a 50percent discount, near where I live in. Booked for a lunch, when arrived no body is at the front desk. Walked in and was greeted by a waitress. Nothing impressive. First impression of the place was just have my lunch.

Was brought to my seat. Except for pre mixed tea and coffee, there’s no other drinks , not even water. Ordered from the menu then.

Went over to various counters, variety was pathetic. I try to summarize, if not too many details. Those precooked food was ewwww cold. Beef was hard. Only pasta can be eaten as its make to order. Deserts not many kinds and fruits only the 3 basic types. You guess.

Hope this review can improve the whole restaurant It’s not considered cheap as I had a lot better ones in Bangkok city cheaper than this in 5 stars hotels. Full of regrets but also worse experience buffet restaurant in Bangkok.

And please take note of hygiene as there’s flies all over. ...
