Bilbo's — Restaurant in Ranong Province

Bilbo's café has hands down the most delicious breakfast I've ever had, healthy, fresh and beautifully decorated. The creamy icy smoothie is served inside a cocolnut bowl topped with local cashew nuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, freshly cut fruits: apples, passion, mango, pineapple, dragon fruit and Thai orange. And a beautiful Chinese Hibiscus flower as decoration. A piece of art that you want to indulge in very slowly. The cafe owners are very friendly (like most people on Koh Phayam). The place is surrounded with banana trees and beautiful plants, almost like being inside a secret little garden shielded from the traffic on the Island's 'main road', al pleasant morning get away...

The best breakfast place on phayam! The smoothie bowls are divine. I've had them elsewhere in Thailand but much better at Bilbo's, with plenty of fruit, seeds and nuts. So 'creamy' but no dairy used!

They also do other stuff that I haven't tried but my friend said was delicious, such as the scones. And proper tea!

One of those places where you cover for bad food with good service, where all customers are "darlings" but the cappuccino is bad and the croissants are what you buy in 7eleven. It's a new breed of Europeans in Thailand that developed a brand for "European Bakery" but there is nothing really behind it besides smiles.
