Rasta Baby Bar — Restaurant in Ranong Province

The accommodations are well designed, very clean, and in a quiet location 1 minute away from the beach. I stayed for 9 nights. The vibe is chill, the surroundings are safe and you meet cool other travelers there. Both owners First and Non are fantastic, they are kind and welcoming people. It feels like a second home.

First is a fantastic cook, lots of great healthy breakfast options including homemade sourdough bread. Same for dinner, I had the massaman curry 3x. Nons cocktails are delicious, I especially liked the “salty dog”.

We got spoken to like dirt off the owner as soon as we walked in for looking to sit upstairs, as apparently it is private, but hardly easy to know this. We ordered two Chang beers which were served at pretty much room temperature. We couldn't wait to leave as the inadequate sound system was struggling with whatever was getting thrown at it and making an awful tinny noise. Got the bill to find out the warm beers cost nearly double that of any other bars on the island. Needless to say we...
