Chercher Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Rayong Province

Wow! What an amazing place. Recommended by a work colleague and it did not disappoint.

We arrived on a Wednesday at 7pm and the place was close to full, point being the restaurant is massive and obviously well-loved by the Rayong locals, always a good sign.

Although we are in Thailands hottest month the sea breeze kept us relatively cool.

We ordered a plethora of Thai dishes from the extensive menu and could not fault any of them. Also, as seems to be the trend in Rayong the alcoholic beverages are a lot cheaper than in central Pattaya.

The live music was the cherry on top!

Food price is good and it is delicious. Atmosphere is also good and they have live music.

Service however, is terrible. We wait a long time for the squid, so we called the waiter to help us check. After a while we have to call another waiter and said if it still not in the kitchen we would like to cancel. The waiter seems to not understand and simply walk away. Last month was my 3rd visit to this place in last 2 years. Great seafood, specially Thai style. Live Music is local Thai , I hope they add a bit of other (international) music in the selection . It is an open air place right next to beach Very nice atmosphere in the evening.

Prices are reasonable, portions are large , plenty of food and a lot of beer for 9 of us we spent around 4000 thb. For some strange reasons they did not accept credit cards !!!! Only cash payments - so gave...
