Returning to our favourite German restaurant after four years, I must express my immense delight in finding it thriving and still radiating the same warmth and culinary excellence that drew us in years ago. Given the challenges many businesses faced during the Covid/Corona era, it's a testament to their dedication and resilience. For over a decade now, this establishment has been our go-to spot, and the consistency in quality remains unparalleled. While the schnitzels continue to be the star of the show, I must also commend the unwavering hospitality of Michael and his wife. Their multilingual easiness to switch between English, German, and Thai always adds a personal touch every time we visit. The 45-minute drive from Kantary Bay in RAYONG remains as worthwhile knowing how satisfying our meal will be. The gentle ocean breeze, captivating view and coziness further elevate the lunch/dining ambiance, making every visit a memorable one. This German restaurant is rather unassuming.. The moment we got there, we felt a bit apprehensive of the prospect of a good German meal, the shop look a bit dated and the menu didn't jump out, it just didn't give a good first impression - yet the review says otherwise... And we though... "Okay. Let hope for the best. " and glad we did. The food was naturally unassuming yet.. Yet it was tasty and it was delicious! It wasn't a fancy, the food was so base. Traveling for over a year in Asia, I had been longing for some German dishes for quite a while. Whilst Western food is available in Asia, it rarely hits the spot for the home flavors. My partner done the quality check with a 🍔 Burger and rushed me down the restaurant with excitement.
