I recently had the pleasure of revisiting Ban Nam Kieng Din, a family-run restaurant that has been a beloved spot in Bangkok since it opened in 2000. My return visit brought back fond memories and reinforced why this place remains a cherished dining destination.

The atmosphere at Ban Nam Kieng Din is both fun and relaxed, offering a refreshing escape from the bustling city. The spacious setting, complemented by a charming pond with black and white swans and playful dogs, creates a tranquil and inviting environment. It’s the perfect place to unwind and breathe easy in the midst of Bangkok's urban rush.

The restaurant also features an event space suitable for functions and weddings, making it a versatile venue for various celebrations. The service is exceptional, characterized by quick and efficient staff who maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hospitality.

A minor downside was spotting a rat during my visit, which, while not ideal, is somewhat understandable in busy restaurant environments.

As for the food, the portions are generous and satisfying. The menu offers a delightful mix of Thai and Italian dishes, along with some intriguing fusion options. Every dish I tried was flavorful and well-prepared, reinforcing my admiration for this establishment.

Overall, Ban Nam Kieng Din is an amazing restaurant that combines great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and excellent service. It’s definitely worth a visit if...

Whether you’re dining indoors or enjoying the outdoor seating, the ambiance is cozy, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing meal with family and friends.

Baan Nam Kieng Din is the kind of place that makes you forget you're in Bangkok and convinces you you've teleported straight into a countryside farmhouse—minus the cows 🐄. The restaurant is surrounded by lush greenery, quaint gardens, and a peaceful little pond that makes for great photo ops (or at least selfies pretending you’re a nature enthusiast) 🌿📸.

The food is tasty, offering a mix of Thai favorites alongside international dishes, all served up in a charming, rustic setting. It’s perfect for family outings, romantic dates, or simply an escape from city chaos. The atmosphere is laid-back enough to linger over your meal, but be prepared—mosquitoes love this place almost as much as visitors do, so don’t forget your repellent or prepare your ninja moves to swat them away! 🦟🤺

Overall, Baan Nam Kieng Din is a cozy little oasis offering good food, great views, and just enough nature to forget you’re...

5 stars for the ambience, spaciousness, wildlife and activities for the family. There are so many animals to keep kids entertained, e.g. Fish, black swans, rabbits and even a flock of flamingos! The space is huge with lots of indoor and outdoor seating areas. Staff is aplenty and well trained to service the customers. Food was wide ranging, there are both Thai, western menus. It tastes good though nothing super outstanding. Overall, it is a delightful dining experience for the family. It is very crowded at dinner during weekend. Would be great if they open the restaurant at 11am for early lunch.

Had a lovely meal at Baan Nam Kieng Din – highly recommended! 🌿🍽️ The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impressively quick. 🥩 The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. 🍤 The crispy shrimp with fruit salad was a standout — super fresh shrimp and the dressing was just right. 🧀 The baked spinach was creamy and rich with cheese – so comforting! 🍖 And don’t miss the German pork knuckle — crispy on the outside, tender inside. Definitely a must-try! Honestly, almost every dish we ordered was great. Beautiful place, great vibes, and tasty food. Will definitely come back! 🙌✨
