Took us a while to get to here even though traffic was fine from Chinatown area. A hidden gem in the many residential house and would naturally think is someone’s home until you reach the front of the shop. We found this traditional Thai dessert place and had one of the best Thai dessert. We ordered a corn and banana with glutinous rice and coconut shavings. It was served with a mixture of sesame and sugar. We love the natural sweetness from the steam corn and banana while the glutinous rice consistency brought out the natural fruits sweetness. We preferred without the sugar but instead, we drizzle a little coconut milk from the other dessert we ordered. The Hai Tao which is stuffed glutinous rice ball with mung bean filling in coconut milk is served with really light and flavourfup coconut milk, the rice wall was so interesting, as we were expecting a sweetness to it, but instead it has a spice kick to it, somewhat like a peppery taste, a first for us. Each bite we can feel our throat gets a peppery warmth that sinks in while the coconut milk with some coconut pieces soothes it. This is a wonderful place to take a rest and just chill with the music and overlooking some koi fish and greenery. Would love to be back to try out other food as they serve savory dishes too.

If you're craving a taste of authentic Thai desserts in a serene and tranquil setting, look no further than Baan Dok Pud. This hidden gem, surrounded by lush gardens and a koi pond, offers heavenly thai desserts that are truly irresistible. From the delicate Khanom Kho (stuffed glutinious rice ball with coconut filling in coconut) to Peat Poon with Corn (pandan pudding in sweet coconut cream) every bite is a testament to the perfect balance of flavors and consistency.

I drank there by far the most delicious smoothie in Bangkok! (no joke) Better don't go there on your last day as you definitely want to come back to get another one! (Unfortunately it was my last day, better don't repeat my mistake) Besides that, the food was very delicious as well and the atmosphere is amazing! I can recommend the place for studying and/or gathering with friends and family. (don't miss the smoothie!)
