Zap Station — Restaurant in Huai Khwang Subdistrict

Hard for me to recommend to foreigners/tourists. I love spicy food; I order it globally. Mexican food (in Mexico) is never spicy enough for me, I’ve won spicy food challenges in (western) restaurants, and vindaloo curry is my go-to. But this curry was inedible from spiciness for me. I picked the meat out of it and choked it down with the rice I ordered, but the rest got wasted…first time I’ve ever not finished a meal due to heat. I didn’t even come close…

It’s marked as a 2/3 spicy on their menu and I can’t help but suspect one of the hot pepper stickers fell off, because if there’s anything above this, I can’t believe even Thais could eat it. It looks and tastes like murder!! Never had spicier food in Thailand and I’ve been here three times. Honestly, I’m impressed....

There is nothing much i can say about it, as i have never been there to dine.. all i know is it is a reataurant along sutthisan winichai road that opens in the late afternoon til midnight, it is a romantic i think as there are no bright lights, only candles in the table, and there are live singer while you are eating near. This is an awesome restaurant/bar. They have live music every day of the week. They have a ton of ultra friendly servers, and the food is delicious. I like the stir-fried morning glory, even though it's really spicy. The shrimp with asparagus was delicious, especially the sauce. And the asparagus was cooked just the right amount.
