Wifey and I had been careful not to over order and over eat on this trip. We failed miserably at this seafood restaurant.
Other reviewers had mentioned it too, warning: the serving here is large. So when in doubt order less and add on later. The kitchen churns out the dishes pretty quickly anyway.
We came here because it was almost 2pm and most places were closed. There were still a few diners when we arrived. Walking through the big dining hall, I past a table with a fish that was as long as my forearm. I thought "That's impressive. I hope they'd give us a smaller fish since it was just me and wifey".
Apparently XL sized fish is all they have. Then came the cabbages, eggs and fried rice. Wifey and I knew we had a fight on our hands. She valiantly tried, but she raised her white flag first. While I soldiered on, I finally also surrendered with half a fish left. That's a lot of protein unfortunately. Everything else was cleaned off the plates. Then they served us 4 slices of watermelon!
Prices were quite reasonable. I can't recall now but I think our lunch was around 1000THB. Everything we ordered tasted good. I especially liked the fluffy and fragrant omelette. But next time, we'll bring reinforcements, or learn...

We immediately brought this issue to the attention of the waiter, but they did not take any action. They merely glanced at the table and walked away. In the end, we had to find another table ourselves.
Furthermore, many unoccupied tables were still cluttered with used dishes that were also covered in ants. It seemed like the tables hadn't been cleaned or attended to for a long time.
Additionally, the food did not live up to the positive reviews we had read. The Tomyam Soup had an excessive amount of lime, while the chili was lacking. The taste of the soup was very sour.
Overall, I hope the restaurant management takes hygiene seriously because no matter how good the food may be, it will be overshadowed by a poor...
