Alive Cheewit Cheewa — Restaurant in Songkhla Province

The place is very nice, should go when is not raining. The food is ok not too good or bad.

But the bad things is the service. It not really helpful I said I allergic to the insects then mayfly on my head and it come around me and drop on the table. I said I want to change the table, they just said no table straight away not really wanna help me find or what. Then the next table is free haven’t have customer sitting then said “oh got reservations alr”. Even I said I allergic also not care until I need to said I don’t want to sit and eat the mayfly keep drop on the table then later it will drop on food I won’t challenge it then they change for us.

And one more things is they make face like don’t wanna service us. We just help they move the plate to have more space to put food but they make face to our granny like why you move it, luckily we come with elderly, if not got problem for sure. Since the beginning that asking how many people come then just disappear, leave us under the rain.

If you wanna come for take a photo I recommend but for the service I think the restaurant should improve a lot more.

I went to this restaurant with my family,we waited for an hour for seats,eventhough there are plenty of empty seats,but the restaurant staff was unable to handle the capacity and the turnover of the customer and had us waited at the entrance for an hour. After when we get seated,and we waited for another hour for our food,eventhough the atmosphere of the cafe was great the vibes was good,but the food portion was very small,and the taste was not so delicious. And here come the highlight of the day,when we going to pay our bills,the price of the menu showing 180baht for a dish,but on the bill,they charge us 360baht for a dish and saying that the meal was cooked in large portion but obviously it is just a normal size meal. We end up paying 4700 baht for this dinner and it is the worst experience ever we had in Hatyai. Visited for dinner around 5:30 PM and was pleasantly surprised by the relaxing, chill ambiance of the restaurant.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the raw prawns – incredibly fresh with a satisfying crunch and meaty texture. The accompanying green chili paste was a perfect match, adding just the right amount of kick without overpowering the delicate flavor of the prawns.

A thoughtful touch was the addition of salted fish soy sauce as a base for the dish – it paired wonderfully with both the prawns and the crisp cabbage slices, elevating the overall flavor profile.

Service was efficient, with food served in under 10 minutes – well within a comfortable wait time.

By around 6:30 to 7:00 PM, a live band started performing, adding a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere to the evening.
