a short & comprehensive review about this food eatery! Location: Call for a GRAB (app) car, pretty accessible but because the exterior is so unassuming, it literally is a shack by the roadside so don’t drive by too fast! Service: we were served by a really outspoken server (presumably the boss?) and she speaks good Chinese and we were able to communicate what we would like to have for lunch easily. Their signature dishes on the menu are those with pictures. The irony is that we didn’t order a fish dish. Haha. Food: We had the crab fried rice, kailan stir fry, a regular omelette, a spicy kangkong veg dish, prawns with tamarind sauce and. tom Yam soup. the portions were good, just nice for a party of 3. The fried rice was very tasty, veg was crunchy. i usually gauge the ability of a chef from how an omelette dish turns out and man, this chef scored. The Tom Yam soup could have had more punch to it though. 4 out of 5 for this place. the flies were annoying although understandably, it was because of the surroundings and location. wash everything down with a bottle of beer!

Nice hidden eatery off the main path run by 2 Thai ladies. The eatery is just by the roadside. Serves pretty authentic Thai style dishes. Between the 2 of them they cooked everything. Food was excellent. We just ordered stuff randomly and requested that she lowers the spice level. We had 2 helpings of pineapple fried rice. Tom Yum Seafood was great..I satisfied a craving. The prawn omelette was great and fluffy. Fried pork with rice was tasty. The lady boss speaks mandarin, but google translate helps. Looks like locals stop by for a cold beer.

Stopped by this cozy little restaurant during my visit to Hat Yai, and it was such a delightful experience! The tom yum was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and just the right level of spice. I also tried the herb-fried fish, which had a nice flavor, though it was quite bony (next time, I’ll remember to ask about the type of fish!). Overall, the food and atmosphere made for a memorable meal. Thank you for the great service and tasty dishes—I’ll definitely recommend this place to other.

The price is reasonable and the food is fresh and delicious. The owner is very kind and nice. We tried been there for dinner that night, but we learned that they were so busy that day, the food was sold out and closed. We were disappointed because of we originally came for dinner. The owner asked when we would return our country. We said the next day at noon. She said happily that she was opening at 9 tomorrow morning and hoped we could make it. I almost couldn't make it because of an emergency the next day. I am very glad to arrive at 11am and enjoyed our breakfast + lunch, and I wasn't disappointed. It was delicious. Hope to come again...
