Café Nostalgie — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

We were searching for a place to spend time while we waited for our VISA extension to process at immigration, and the owner of Cafe Nostalgie greeted us with a huge smile, ushering us in and bringing us each cups of cold water with mint leaves. Her attention to detail is exquisite and extends throughout all areas of the restaurant, including the decor and food displays. Our drinks were made with care, presented with thoughtful precision and absolutely delicious. The bathroom was filled with vibrant plants, the sink lined with beautiful purple flowers. One of best service not only on island, but in Thailand. It have a great breakfast(and late time breakfast) menu - it can be vegeterian (awesome yogurt plus nuts and fruits), or great omelets with fish / sausage / hams. Deserts menu is continuously developed (for last 3 months of my visits i tried croissants, cookies, raw chocolate cakes with great quality and value). Each time something new and cool.

First of all, it is the best place I have come across in terms of hygiene and cleanliness in Phangan. The breakfast options are excellent. The portions are filling. I think they make the best coffee on the island. I drank it with pleasure. Turkish teas are very very good. The prices are quite reasonable.
