We ate here in the week of its first opening and had to wait for the starter and main course for an unreasonably long time and the food was mediocre. The staff however was lovely and since the menu has some Russian classics on it we decided to return today to see if they got the place up and running properly.
We ordered the antipasto platter for two and after both the pork shashlik. Waiting time between the two dishes was quite long, but the restaurant was full so we were not too bothered. However when the food came we didn’t get cutlery, and when asked for it our waiter proceeded to first serve the table next to us.
Then to the shashlik, when I cut open the first piece it was slightly rosé and my wife (who has made hundreds of kilos of shashlik) said it wasn’t ready. I asked the owner of the restaurant about it but she assured me this was the way it was supposed to be. Fine, I didn’t feel like sending it back and waiting longer.
A few pieces in and my stomach starts feeling funny and I cut open the piece you see pictured. Maybe I will come again for a beer but never for the food. Sad, as the food on the menu if prepared correctly (like my wife...
Read moreBorsch - good. Burger - not good (Overcooked not very tasty beef cutlet, too finely chopped vegetables, tasteless bun). Fried fries - good, but I think it should be served with a burger, but it was brought when I already finished burger. Cheese balls - good.
Plus good mood from the waiter, he gave me the lemonade just to taste because I was not sure is it too sweet or not. Lemonade - very nice. Tea with ginger lemon honey- very good.
Just one more thing to make the service better, the waiter often forgot to give us the cutlery.

The owner is so attentive and you can feel (and taste) that the food is made with love and a passion for cooking. We loved every dish we ordered. The liver pate with the bread was deeeeelicious. Also the truffle mash with bbq pork and the grilled fish with roasted cauliflower. Mmmmm….😋. Can’t wait to eat there again. Will visit again...
