Culture Club — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Bloody hell, what a cracking spot! Breakfast, lunch, a chilled dinner, drinks, dancing, and a bit of craic—plus they’ve even got a corner for the nippers!

The grub’s unreal—fresh, made in-house, and none of that Thai stuff you get at every other bleedin’ place round here. We’re talking proper world-class sarnies, burgers, and scrambled eggs with all the trimmings chucked in—I’d swear by all three meself. The drinks are top-notch too—gin and tonic, beers, dark rum, they’re absolutely class, no messing about. Got so buzzing about the food and booze I had a natter with the gaffer, and he let slip their crew got a proper training sesh off some Gordon Ramsey chef fella not long back. Sorted the kitchen, kit, the lot—smoothed out all the hiccups and got it running like a dream. Fair play, chef, job’s a good’un!

Staff are sound as a pound—friendlier than you’d ever hope, proper switched-on, and just class. End of.

You can tell this place is run by pros who give a toss. Spotless, it is, and they’ve got all the latest gear—75-inch tellies, a brand-new mixing desk, and a PA that sounds the business.

Absolute gem in Chaloklum, this.

Culture Club is a rare find in Chaloklum; mixing old world elegance and modern chic with a superchilled, laidback atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, there are several creative spaces to relax and enjoy the vibes and an absolutely standout menu.

The food is unique; fresh and well-crafted fusion dishes which are ubiquitously delicious and also cater for vegetarians and even vegans. The music is cool and not overbearing, but best of all, as is necessary with any top-rated café, the coffee is first rate and the best I've experienced in nearly a month of travelling both the east and west coasts of Southern Thailand.

Ummmmm yum!!!!! This place is beyond delicious. Tucked in one of the cutest areas in Chaloklum which is one of the cutest areas in Koh Phangan you can beat the location- it’s literally across the street from one of the best beaches on the island.

I’ve been for breakfast and lunch and both were outstanding. The BLAT is a highlight- I can’t wait to go back for Taco Tuesdays and even though I don’t eat chicken I’ll definitely try those chicken wings they look so good!
