Solid menu with an excellent variety of enough flavors that you will find something to satisfy. The prices range from very fair to somewhat laughable.
The beer on tap is what brought us in. Live mic on a Sunday was a nice surprise. We had a pleasant experience. We snacked on quesadillas, which were not bad. Not sure where they got the idea to serve ketchup with the appetizer, though.
I’m giving 3 stars instead of one because the young lady that was bar tending made an excellent margarita. 👍🏻
Caution: Be aware that you need to be prepared to take what you get...IF you aren’t up on your Thai speaking skills or have a Thai with you. Almost nobody speaks more than 2 words of English. This is not a heavily beaten path by foreigners, so English is not present. No big deal as this is Thailand, but this restaurant serves Western cuisine. Don’t expect great service, conversation, or especially for anyone to understand a word you are saying if you have a special request/issue with the food or drink. Also, your idea of the Western dish may be very different than how the “cook”...
Read moreWe came here for a light dinner with high expectations.
Spicy Tuna salad was quite tasty but also a bit disappointing as the tuna was canned tuna... Quessadillas were okay but served with ketchup!? Seriously a little side of salsa would of made them delicious but ketchup...?! Prawn Omelet served on rice was very nicely done, almost perfect, except the prawns were dry and quite chewy. Soft Shell Crabs with garlic i was really looking forward to as soft Shell crabs can be delicious. Unfortunately the cooking oil was old which made the crabs very oily with a old oil flavor...
Overall the service was great and dishes prepared quite quickly as expected as we were the only customers. Canned tuna was not what I expected for this class of restaurant. And the soft shell crabs really were disappointing.
Unfortunately I won't return to try a full dinner and can't recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
High prices I expect...
Read moreThe social distancing protocol is doable in this branch. The staff speaks english and they memorized their menu. I say this because i ordered a 'usual' so i didn't open the menu books and i told them and they knew what they were. The light fixtures are a little on the hipster side but they make good photos if not too dim. They can be adjusted if you were to read a paper or a good book. The flow of the floor design is functional and straightforward upscale rustic. Im just not sure if the toilet rooms are scrubbed everyday. Anyways i have not tried the red and white wines. But the artisan teas and coffees are amazing!! The pastas are good. Try buffalo wings and quesedilla they are also good. I tried their burger a year ago i remembered feeling like it's the closest to the western type of burger in terms of taste and value or cost. This is a place where you feel validated as a foodie. Lol. It's a little fancy...
