Review for farm stay:
Everything from the staff, accommodations, facilities and location were great. The staff really go out of their way to make sure things are arranged for you (transportation and activities). The bed was one of the few comfortable ones we slept on during our travels and the staff ensured things were cleaned daily. The owner/staff arranged transport from the airport and also transportation down to Pak Bara. Even while we were there we used the bikes and he made sure there was air in the tires. The restaurant on site was a bit more on the expensive side, but we noticed its pricing was close to the other places nearby. A happy perk was the 10% off for eating at the restaurant which definitely helped. Breakfast was exceptional, one of the best ones we had from a hotel while travelling in Thailand. A good mix of everything on the plate and cooked to order. When we checked out I accidentally left something behind and the owner shipped it to me at another hotel we were staying at later in our journey. We would happily stay here again. PS Really good...
Read moreFood overrated and over priced. Ordered the mushroom white sauce pasta with salmon and the entire dish was disappointing as the mushrooms were canned, the salmon had a fishy taste, and the cream was as thin as milk. The quesadilla ordered wasn't Mexican flavored, it consisted of ground chicken cooked in a jar of Prego pasta sauce, so it was very boring in flavor. My wife ordered the soft shell crap pasta and the flavor too was lacking and was overly spicy, she said the crab was nice.
I almost never comment, and I feel goofy for saying the food is pretentious, but I've lived here almost 5 years and for 200-400+ baht a dish, the food was highly overrated. Almost everything we ordered was sub par, except for the shrimp cakes which are tough to mess up as you can get them on the street for a few baht each.
It's a nice place though in a nice location that seems to have some cute rooms to stay in. The owner was very nice as well.

Read moreThe family who own the hotel and restaurant live on the resort & they are extremely helpful and kind.
The location is very remote, so it’s difficult to order taxis and rent scooters and you are not nearby to a convenience store! However, despite this the family did everything for us to ensure we had a pleasant few nights in Khao Sok.
We checked out of a nearby place and into their hotel because they were so helpful when we walked past!
Their food was really nice we enjoyed all the food, it’s quite expensive compared to the rest of Thailand but you can understand why, due to the location and not having lots of options nearby. Again, despite the prices… the food tasted really good and you’ve got so many choices.
Thanks to the family at Khum Ka La Hua Cafe & Farm Stay for being so kind and caring during our stay! If we ever return to the area, we know we will be looking to book your...
