Tao Thong Restaurant — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

This is a self service restaurant, you have to go to the front desk, take a menu, paper, and pen, and write what you want on it then give it back to the front desk. This is fine, but it took me 10 minutes of waiting before i figured that out. It took about 25 minutes to get my masaman curry and it was very good, it had peanuts like it should, and was quite tasty although I do feel like it had more coconut milk in it than I am used to personally. The location is fantastic, situated right on the cliffs with a beautiful terrace perfect for watching the sunset. The food was good, and the tofu was the best I’ve had in Thailand so far. Waited 30 minutes for my Pad Thai. Meanwhile other guests could finish their food and leave the restaurant. They were also served before me. When I told the staff I just got the answer that I wouldn't be the only guest. Well, thanks.
