Aoy's Little Farm & Bakery — Restaurant in Trat Province

I don’t think I’ve ever found more inspiration and joy from a business before. This cafe was, without a doubt, the highlight of my trip to Thailand.

Imagine a hidden gem on a remote part of the island, a cozy hideout with breathtaking terrace views overlooking the sea and a charming fishermen’s village. The air is filled with the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked pastries and rich coffee brewing behind the bar.

I had a special occasion to celebrate—my girlfriend’s birthday—and I needed the perfect cakes. There was only one place to go: a 4.9-star-rated cafe renowned for its beautiful and delicious creations. So, I made the journey—55 km from Klong Kloi—and it was the best decision ever.

The cakes (photo attached) were nothing short of phenomenal—freshly baked with top-quality ingredients, crafted with care and passion. Each bite was perfection. The iced chocolate was also great while I waited for the cakes to be perfected and I am sure the other drinks are delicious too.

Beyond the food, the people truly made the experience unforgettable. The owners, Erik and Aoy, are incredible souls—kind, welcoming, and full of warmth. I was grateful to meet them both. And the two lovely waitresses running around the cafe with grace and energy? Absolutely delightful. Their kind smiles and friendly conversations added an extra layer of charm to an already magical place.

This cafe made our celebration truly special, and I know that whenever I return to Thailand, it will be a must-visit destination. Thank you to the entire team for making our day so memorable and for bringing so much joy into your work.

What an absolutely lovely little place run by a Thai + Norwegian couple.

I adore the cafes in Thailand that have beautiful plants and flowers all around, in a beautiful setting by the water...

And this place had it all.

Firstly there was plenty of parking for both cars and bikes in the main car park of the fishing village, then it was a 5 min walk to the bakery.

The owners were very friendly and the drinks/ cakes were great.

There was a terrace and a view point which was fab.

Also, we both thought this place had the nicest outdoor toilet that we had used during our 3 weeks in Thailand. It was very clean, had a lovely air freshener inside, plenty of paper and hand-wash and a lovely view!! it was also full of plants and had a lovely decor!! I didnt think I'd ever post that about a toilet but here we are 😂 it was just too nice not to say anything!

Would definitely recommend a visit to this cafe. All that was missing was a cute cat!! (unless there was one and we just missed...

Exceptional little place. The owners have a great passion for every detail. The decoration and style of the cafe expresses their humble and loving personality.

Concerning the food, they really go the extra mile (or 250 kilometers to Pattaya as we were told) to ensure the highest quality of ingredients possible. What can I say? It's worth it: I got the best banana shake in our travel in south east asia. The coffee is delicious. The cakes are to die for. If these cakes would have been served as desert in a Michelin star restaurant, I would've been totally happy. For instance, the cheese cake is as good as excellent new york cheese cakes and comes along with a well thought-out composition of fruits and berries. The presentation of the food is top notch as well.

Although we got this excellent quality, it was reasonably priced.
