When seeing the sign from the outside you would think its just a simple beach cafe but inside it is very high end. The decor, menu and ambience is very well thought out. It was around 9 am when we came for a coffee and green tea. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
However, this is not a place to have a cup of coffee and dip into the rocky sea. While I know many other establishments around pearl beach allow you to have a coffee or some food and dip in the owner does not allow it here.
I believe that a sign saying you are not allowed to swim is needed since many other establishments on the beach allow swimming. ( Having a sign would allow guests to know it is prohibited eventhough owners don't own the beaches in Thailand. No beach is actually private)
(Also kindly stating that swimming isn't allowed instead of the reaction I received would be a much better approach)
If there is no sign then how would people know they aren't allowed to swim. Especially when beaches aren't private in Thailand.
Nevertheless if you want a very fancy experience on the sea and aren't interested in swimming then check this place out. Again the staff was outstanding. It was the reaction from the manger that made me feel very uneasy. Again if saw a sign posted we would have never took a quick dip.
I never ever leave negative reviews but after talking to locals and other establishments it didn't seem right.
I hope a sign will be posted and this doesn't happen to anyone else because this place is really...
